4th Annual Backcountry Film Festival

Outside Now fosters holistic human development through Nature Connection. They offer Nature Programs hosted by skilled mentors to help children and teens experience a deep connection with the natural world. Outside Now is a 501c3 non-profit and all proceeds from the film festival will go to benefit the essential work they are doing in our local community. Come join All Good, The Mountain Air and 1% For the Planet as they host the 4th Annual SLO County Backcountry Film Festival. Be prepared for a night of exciting films, an amazing raffle, snacks, libations and to celebrate winter snow sports.

The Backcountry Film Festival is produced by Winter Wildlands Alliance as a celebration of the human- powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national nonprofit organization that partners with groups like Outside Now, at the local level to inspire and educate the backcountry community to protect and care for their winter landscapes. Funds raised at each screening stay in the local community to support human-powered recreation and conservation efforts, winter education and avalanche/safety programs and to raise awareness of winter management issues.
